Entrepreneurship Is My Jam!

Some little girls grow up waiting for a prince and a glass slipper. Others want to know how the entire slipper factory works. I was the latter, and that curiosity set me on a lifelong path of entrepreneurship.

I’ve always been less interested in the finished product than in the systems beneath it: how things are made, sustained, and carried from imagination into reality. I see the world as a loose pile of LEGO bricks, full of possibility, and I’ve spent years learning how to assemble them into something that works..

That impulse has taken many forms. I founded an advertising firm, expanded into coffee and restaurant distribution, supplied point-of-sale materials, manufactured and imported goods internationally, developed and operated a charitable boutique, and laid the groundwork for a small publishing imprint, now in a deliberate pause as my attention turns fully toward my musical.

Along the way, I also established a long-term parcel-delivery brokerage contract with a major shipping company. That business now operates largely in the background, providing stability while freeing more of my attention for creative work.

Today, most of my time and energy is devoted to writing and developing an original, large-scale musical, alongside a lifelong commitment to learning and creative growth.

Building businesses and building art have never felt separate to me. Both begin with curiosity: the desire to look beneath the finished thing, understand how it works, and discover what else it might become.

And I am still assembling the pieces.
