My passion for the science of good design began in the mid-2000s when (as a broke university student seeking lunch money) I splashed my artistic flair across posters for a CBC concert series.  Upon graduation, I landed a job as a marketing coordinator for a software development company within the entertainment industry. I began to have the itch to branch out in my duties and negotiated the freedom to dabble in ad development.  With some experience, I decided to take the leap and launch my own ad/design firm and began consulting with marketing firms and magazines.   It's been well over a decade, and  I am designing my way across my various businesses.
